Five Buck Truck Supports Charity
In a unique charitable effort called the “12 Stops of Christmas,” music fans who give a suggested donation of $5 to City of Hope—a leading research, treatment and education center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases—will be eligible to receive a free album. Fans can meet the $5 Buck Music Truck at any of the “12 Stops of Christmas” in the Los Angeles area from Dec. 12-17. Text the word SONG to 90999 to donate $5 to City of Hope, which is the suggested donation amount to receive a free album featured at one of the 12 locations. Albums for sale include Janet Jackson, Nirvana, the Jackson 5, the Rolling Stones, Yusuf (aka Cat Stevens), Katharine McPhee, John Fogerty, Diana Krall, U2, Bob Marley, Morrissey, and the Carpenters. Throughout the year, you can always support City of Hope by texting SONG to 90999 to give $5. Standard messaging rates may apply. A list of locations for the 12 Stops of Christmas can be found at www.ilovethatsong.com.
