Find A Way To Connect To Your Fans
Ten to 20 years ago bands could generate fans from face-to-face contact; the internet has severely changed the trend. With respect to social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook and Twitter, fans are now being force-fed hundreds to thousands of bands on a daily basis. Because of this, fans no longer feel like they are a part of the scene, and no fans will break any band. Reconnect with those who look up to you! Find interesting and creative ways to get them involved with what you’re doing. And remember, 1 million Myspace friends does not mean you’re EP will go platinum.
