Deacon of Animal Collective Making a Difference in Africa

Joshua Dibb of Animal Collective (also known as Deacon) will be participating in the 2010 Festival in the Desert. The event is in Essakane, Mali. Dibb’s is taking his contribution one step further by offering a limited edition book and CD to bring awareness to Mali, and bring money from fans into the Saharan region to help abolish slavery, and bring economic development to those oppressed.
