Keep Your Telephone Etiquette A Priority
Next to human contact, phone calls are the most intimate method of communication. Think about it: you’re right in someone’s ear when you’re speaking to them. The sound you project on the phone is just one element of your communication. Like all other network strategies, effective telephone communication is determined by the ability to read the emotions and thoughts of the person on the other end of the line, not simply talking at them. Keep this in mind when you make new contacts and catch-up with partners or clients of old.
