Be Sure You’re Ready For House Gigs

Unless you’re playing for die-hard fans, you should wait until you’ve honed a strong, unplugged show with a repertoire of at least 15-20 great songs before you make attempts to connect with experienced house concert hosts to perform. It is a bit of work on the hosts part and they are likely to be very picky about what and who they choose and unlikely to “help out” an artist who is just getting started.
