Accept That The Worst Thing That Can Happen Is A “No” Response.
When looking for a deal, a gig, a review, remember that hearing NO isn’t the end of the world. People may turn you down for reasons not related to you — having a lousy day, a full schedule, bad timing, etc. Thank them for their time, take a deep breath and try someone else. “No” won’t hurt you. Not asking will! If you keep asking, there’s a chance someone will acquiesce.
