Red Parlor Seeks Artists For Publishing
Founded in 2005, Red Parlor Entertainment Group LLC, which operates Red Parlor Records (distributed by ADA), announces the launch of a publishing division, Red Parlor Music (ASCAP). The first titles in the Red Parlor catalog are compositions written by L.A. based recording artist Manda Mosher, who’s debut album Everything You Need has just been released on the company’s label. The deal with Ms. Mosher is a joint venture with Bug Music who will also administer the catalog. Red Parlor plans to aggressively develop its music publishing side and is currently in talks with several artists in this regard.
Red Parlor Records’ catalog includes albums by prominent Nashville songwriters David Olney, Joy Askew and the late Chris Whitley. Contact Steven Goff, steven@redparlor.com, www.redparlor.com.
