Idyllists show to benefit fallen firefighters

The Idyllists, a group of local indie rock musicians have announced that all proceeds from their Friday, Oct. 2 show at Hotel Cafe will be donated to the Los Angeles County Firefighters Memorial Fund.  Captain Tedmund “Ted” Hall, 47, of San Bernardino County, and Firefighter Specialist Arnaldo “Arnie” Quinones, 34, of Palmdale, died Aug. 30 when their truck fell 800 feet into a ravine during their battle against the Station Fire in the Angeles National Forest. Tickets for the benefit are $8 and available at the door. The Idyllists remind those that cannot attend that they can still donate directly to the LA County Firefighters Memorial Fund by visiting www.fire.lacounty.gov/FFMemorial.asp.
