LES PAUL R.I.P.
The music world has lost a true giant. What’s very weird for me is that I went to the Gibson Show Room in Manhattan today and Les Paul was everywhere. I showed up to interview ACE FREHLEY, who aside from having a signature Les Paul line, has long been associated with the brand, even before he made LP’s guitars smoke.
While in the showroom, I had mentioned that my mom lived in Mahwah, the home of Les Paul, when an assistant said, “he lived in Mahwah.” The Wall Street Journal was on the phone waiting for a quote from Ace.
