“The one thing I notice with a lot of music I get is that the cymbals are out of phase at least 75 percent of the time. Now that people are on Pro Tools they don’t use a console and they don’t look at the meters. Just by looking at the meters and flipping phase buttons it’s sort of the basic framework of recording.
