Rely on information, not who you know
You can usually tell by the look in someone’s eye whether they’re cheating you or not. There are so many ways to market yourself and develop your career that it’s not necessarily about who you know. It’s more about what information you use as a tool. Nowadays information is so easily accessible that you can have a lot of power if you seek it out.
