Make rules, but keep ‘em flexible
If you wait for a label to make an offer, you’re going to start low, invariably, with an enormous number of rights being given up. So if you can try to define the rules of the game, you’re a little better off…. But you can’t draw lines in the sand. Every deal has to be flexible.
