2009 Cannes Festival to benefit quake victims
The 2009 Cannes International Film Festival will include a benefit to honor the earthquake victims in Abruzzo, Italy consisting of a powerful film presentation with musical performance and cocktail reception. It will take place on May 20, 2009 at 3 p.m. All donations will be directly made to the Red Cross of Italy, which has worked at the forefront of the disaster to help the victims of the earthquake dealing with their daily necessities.
