PHILLY HOLDS SONGWRITERS CONTEST
Philadelphia Songwriters Project opens up a call for original submissions to find the next batch of up and coming songwriters in the region for its 2009 Songwriting contest. Winning songwriters will earn performance slots at multiple festivals including The Kimmel Center Summer Solstice, Bethlehem Musik Fest 2009 and the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Performing songwriters of all levels and all genres are welcome. However some performances must be able to be stripped down to accommodate some venues.
