MUSICIANS ASKED TO BUSK FOR CHARITY
All musicians — professional, amateur, rock bands or baroque troupes — around the world are asked to take part in the inaugural Musequality World Busk. The location is a sidewalk (or any other public space) near you and the time is any time (in social hours) during Musequality World Busk Week from Monday, June 8 to Sunday, June 14. On Sunday, Musequality aims to set a record for the largest simultaneous busk in history. Founded in 2007 by violinist David Juritz, leader of the London Mozart Players, Musequality is a UK-based charity that funds communal music projects for some of the poorest children in the developing world. If you want to join in with the Musequality World Busk, find tips and register at www.worldbusk.org.
