After the Health or Fire Department shut down Sly Stone’s and George Clinton’s amazing jam session at the Little Temple a few weeks ago, Novena Carmel (Sly’s daughter and booker of the Little Temple and Zanzibar) rescheduled the to last night at the Zanzibar. And it didn’t just happen to be Sly’s B-Day, it was an all out celebration of the man featuring the likes of George Clinton, and George Johnson of the Brothers Johnson. A fantastic night for any fan of da funk.
