FREE MUSIC WORKSHOPS & PITCH A SONG TO PROS
Just Plain Folks, Coalition of Southern California Music Organizations and Los Angeles Women in Music will host a free all-day event with workshops, panels, mentoring sessions and the opportunity to “Pitch A Song” to industry pros (for a small fee) on Sat., Dec. 6 at Musician’s Local 47 in Hollywood, CA. Topics will cover radio, media, film & TV placement, promotions, and online technologies, as well as songwriting and career guidance. This event will also have a holiday bazaar filled with stocking stuffers. Music Connection’s Bernard Baur will be moderating the radio panel, delivering a presentation on “Handling the Media,” and will be available for mentoring sessions. This is a real-life opportunity to learn something new and advance your career.
