GROOVE TUBES HOLDS THREE-DAY WAREHOUSE SALE
On Thursday 11/6, Friday 11/7 and Saturday 11/8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., a special sale will be held at the site of the former Groove Tubes factory (1543 Truman, San Fernando, CA 91340) near Los Angeles. According to a company spokesperson, “After our sale of certain assets of Groove Tubes to Fender, there are 30+ years of “vintage leftovers” located at our old factory site.” Items to be sold: All discontinued GT products working or not (read: RARE and VINTAGE) from mic and amp prototypes, GT product returns, demo units, to unfinished amps and preamps, unloaded speaker cabels, speakers and much more. Also featured are Groove Tubes founder Aspen Pittman’s personal collection of over 100 vintage guitar speakers, dozens of modern speakers, vintage tubes, vintage amps and preamps. Pittman’s personal 30+ year “collector’s collection” must be sold out to clear his building for remodel and lease. Pre-sale viewing can be arranged by appointment.
