Waste vegetable oil and rock and roll will fuel Pictures And Sound on their opening tour
Waste vegetable oil and rock and roll will fuel Pictures And Sound on their opening tour in support of their self-titled debut Pictures And Sound. The band will travel the entire 13,000 mile/26 city tour in a Ford diesel van converted to run on waste vegetable oil. Greenvans (www.rentgreenvans.com), the first 100% carbon neutral van rental company on the planet, has outfitted the van with a vegetable oil conversion system manufactured and installed by Vegistroke, the highly regarded vegetable oil conversion company. Each passenger van in the Greenvans’ fleet comes with a cargo trailer that has enough room for the band’s equipment, bags, and anything else they might pick up along the way. Also in the trailer is a storage tank for spare veggie oil, and the band will only have to fill up with more vegetable oil every 2000 miles. Visit www.picturesandsound.com.
