Rock4Change host benefit concert for Darfur
Rock4Change is intended to empower and inspire a new generation of activism through the entertainment industry, and in doing so, will raise funds and awareness for important social issues that need our attention. On Thurs., Sept. 4, Rock4Change is partnering with Novo Worldwide, a group of philanthropic individuals, to host their first benefit concert at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk in L.A., powered by Gibson Guitars. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from ticket sales will support the sustainable relief efforts in Darfur through the work of “Aid Still Required” and will benefit the initiatives of “Hands Across Nations” in Uganda. The evening will include live musical performances, dance, comedy and meaningful presentations by some of Hollywood’s brightest stars. Tickets will be on sale through TicketMaster.com.
