In recording studios, adopting Feng Shui basics is vital to creating music. The idea is that when you look into the space you work in you want to be drawn into the room and it should be sleek, clean and uncluttered. But in your environment as writers and composers, with so much gear ‐‐ a writing table, synth racks, keyboards, pianos, computer ‐‐ all within arm’s reach, the idea is to get all of that stuff but not look like you’re walking into a messy room.

Great tip. Thanks for sharing the benefits of Feng Shui with others. As I work with many musicians, singers, song writers, etc., I also have them take a moment of silence to do some simple breathing exercises prior to performing or sitting down to write. As a result, they report that they experience a higher sense of creativity and perform at a higher level.
