“Jersey Shore Jam” held to raise funds for two causes
On Nov. 23, Bridges of Peace will host the “Jersey Shore Jam” Benefit Concert to benefit Beth Miriam, a House of Hospitality in Jersey City, NJ, and to aid the “Help a Child Through a Soldier” Drive Project, which supports the troops and children whose lives have been adversely affected by the wars in The Middle East. Bridges of Peace will be collecting stuffed toys and other items that will be sent to Iraq and distributed to Iraqi children by U.S. service people. Also, part of the concert’s proceeds will be donated to Beth Miriam to assist in establishing a “House of Hospitality” which will serve women of all denominations throughout the state who are being released from prison. The event will take place at The Headliner Club in Neptune, NJ, from 3-8 p.m. For more, visit www.bridgepeace.org.
