Musicares honors Alice Cooper and Slash

Legendary artist Alice Cooper and renowned guitarist Slash were honored at the 4th annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert at the Music Box @ Fonda in Hollywood, Calif. Both artists were honored for their commitment to addiction recovery with Cooper receiving the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award and Slash receiving the From the Heart Award. A stellar lineup performed in celebration of the evening including Blind Melon and Camp Freddy featuring Slash on guitar, along with several special guests. All proceeds benefited the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation. The benefit was sponsored in part by the Gibson Foundation.
