Music supervisors
Music supervisors want to know if both the synchronization rights (publishing rights) and the master rights (recording rights) are owned by the contact person. This is one of the most important issues when a supervisor considers music because each of these rights need to be obtained for music to be used in a motion picture. If both are controlled by one source, right from the jump, it makes it easier to license.
