Music For Relief gets some help from Linkin Park and the MLB
Mike Shinoda and David “Phoenix” Farrell from Linkin Park accepted a $25,000 check from the Major League Baseball Authentic Collection and Champs Sports to benefit Music for Relief. The event is being used to highlight the issues Music For Relief and Linkin Park are working to alleviate. Major League Baseball’s Authentic Collection and Linkin Park are already long time partners, working together on Linkin Park’s Projekt Reovlution Tours. This summer marks the 3rd time Linkin Park and MLB have taken road together, and the second year in which Champs Sports has been involved as a sponsor on the multi-date tour. In addition to helping fund relief efforts with their donation, Major League Baseball Authentic Collection and Champs Sports also endeavor to raise awareness for the need to adequately assist in aiding communities that have suffered a natural disaster, as well as the need to educate the public about climate change.
