Meet song pluggers
Meet song pluggers. There are also individuals who specialize in getting independent artists’ music into films. They are called “song pluggers” or music placement representatives. They can work directly for individual artists or songwriters, bands and indie labels. Major labels have these people in-house, but there are a variety working independently, ones who are open and willing to work with the most undiscovered artists, as long as the quality is good and music is ‘placeable.’
