If you are composer

If you are composer and want to write for films, making connections in the business is crucial. At first, you must be willing to do some work for free, or pennies, in order to get your foot in the door. If you do good work, are not a prima donna and understand that film makers and directors can be prima donnas, then you have a real chance for success.  As in most walks of life, all your future jobs will come via a word-of-mouth referral. So do your best, deliver in a timely fashion and make changes as necessary without displaying attitude.
