Gretsch Sponsors Unsigned Artists Competition

Gretsch, one of the world’s best-known guitar and drum manufacturers, is conducting “The Next Gretsch Greats Unsigned Artist Competition.” The company is inviting unsigned and independent bands from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Japan, Spain, France and Germany to compete. Music fans will begin voting for their favorites on June 15th. The 10 bands with the most votes will make it to the final round where they will be judged by an expert panel that includes touring members of the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and others. The grand prize winner will open for legendary Gretsch acts at the company’s 125th anniversary concert this November in NYC and will win $15,000 in Gretsch guitars and drums.
