Ditch the Van, Man
When touring, although the first tendency is to load both equipment and band in (and on top of) a van, it’s far safer to tow your gear in a trailer. Quick moves can easily cause a fully loaded top-heavy van to roll over. A trailer presents more of a challenge out on the road, especially in tight parking places, but it offers greater stability and lots more room for tired band members in the cabin. Remember to have tie-downs for your equipment to keep the weight from shifting unexpectedly.
